We are youth-led NGO incorporated in 2006. It works at securing a future of hope for the youth and poor rural people, ensuring the full utilization of their right to participate in development policy planning, implementation and accrued benefits. The thematic areas of HAYTAFORD are quality education and responsive environmental sustainability, with cross-cutting issues such as child and women’s rights, young women in Technical vocational education training (TVET), new trends in gender, disability, youth sexual reproductive health and HIV/AIDs.
A self-sustaining society that recognizes its youth as central to the acquisition of its development needs.
HAYTAFORD has direct community presence in five districts in Upper West Region of Ghana, currently monitoring school budgets, promoting quality access to improved reproductive health services and rights and young women participation in non-traditional trades. Our sub district and regional advocacy efforts however cover entire Northern Ghana with a gradual influence at the national and subcontinent levels.
